In the “Frequently Asked Questions” section you will find the most frequent questions addressed to the Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Association Emmaus Friesland. If you will not find an answer in our frequently asked questions page, please contact us through any of the contact methods provided on this page, so that we can clarify.
The most frequently asked questions to the association
You can donate an amount to a cause (you can choose a cause to help by accessing the link attached: Causes to help

You can donate food, materials using the information available on the contact page
You can sign up as a volunteer within the Emmaus Friesland Non-Profit Association
It will be necessary to access the page dedicated to Volunteering and scroll down to the section dedicated to NGO Volunteering,
- Fill out the volunteer application form
- Wait for an answer from the Association.
- In case of a positive answer, you are invited to a selection interview with a representative of the Association.
- The interview will take place in the Municipality. Bârlad, Jud Vaslui or, if you are from another town or outside Romania, via Whatsapp Video.
The legal age for volunteering according to the Volunteering Law (law 78/2014), refers to the labor legislation, where it is specified that the minor gains employment starting at the age of 15.

- That you are willing to devote sufficient time to the activities of the Association and to carry out your duties properly...
Emmaus Friesland Association is a non-profit association, so all the income obtained by it will be donated to relief cases, so unfortunately our NGO will not be able to pay you for your activity. But you must know that volunteering activity is recognized as seniority by the Romanian legislation.
Of course, as long as your family members, friends or colleagues are at least 15 years old
What kind of association are you?
Emmaus Friesland Association, is non-governmental and non-profit association from Romania, that carries out charity activities, support and assistance for people in need. Established in 2014, since its establishment until now we have activities to help more than 520 people in need, through donations of money and goods they need.

- Providing protection, helping and supporting those in need
- Improving the lives of people in need and their families
- Psychological counseling and moral support for those who are in need
